Spy services for market research
Adplexity
Adplexity sells separate platform subscriptions, and every plan includes API access with 5,000 credits per month, according to its API page checked 2026-10-30. The platform selected determines the subscription, but the Social price differs between Adplexity’s pricing pages.
Buyers comparing research workloads should weigh those platform choices against billing and access terms. The provider offers demos instead of free trials.

Six platform subscriptions share one login
Adplexity’s pricing and product pages describe these features, checked 2026-10-30.
- Platforms: Social, Native, Push, Desktop, Mobile and Adult; each has its own plan, with one shared login (pricing page, checked 2026-10-30).
- API: included with every plan, without a separate API subscription (API page, checked 2026-10-30).
- Library: daily updates, ad history, search, filters and landing-page archives (Black Friday page, checked 2026-10-30).
- Reports: daily reports with custom columns and CSV export (Black Friday page, checked 2026-10-30).
Platform prices vary across pricing pages
Subscriptions are separate, with monthly or yearly billing depending on the chosen plan. The listed Social prices conflict across Adplexity pages checked 2026-10-30:
- Black Friday page — Social at $69 a month, billed yearly at $828 — checked 2026-10-30.
- Pricing page — Social at $79 per month with yearly billing, alongside a displayed $99 price — checked 2026-10-30.
The pricing page lists these other yearly-billed monthly prices and displayed prices, checked 2026-10-30:
- Native — $208 per month; displayed $249.
- Push — $124 per month; displayed $149.
- Desktop — $166 per month; displayed $199.
- Mobile — $166 per month; displayed $199.
- Adult — $166 per month; displayed $199.
The Black Friday page says discounts apply to yearly plans bought by November 30, while Adult is billed every 3 months. It also states that Black Friday prices remain the same at renewal and customers can cancel anytime. The pricing page describes monthly billing as charged each month and yearly billing as charged annually; monthly billing can be cancelled anytime.
The terms specify advance billing on the plan’s monthly or yearly cycle, with credit card or PayPal required. Prices are in USD and taxes may apply, according to the Black Friday page checked 2026-10-30. AdIntelligence Limited may change fees at the end of the current billing cycle, according to the terms checked 2026-10-30.
Search connects ads to landing pages
Adplexity says its search follows competitor ads through funnels from ads to offers. The provider claims its ecosystem has more than 200 million indexed ads and covers more than 30 ad networks and traffic sources. Search filters include country, keyword, tracker, network, language and days running.
For ecommerce lookup, the provider says filters cover Shopify, WooCommerce and BigCommerce, while searches can use product titles, prices and page copy. The ecommerce page says its tool filters more than 200 million ads across social, native, push, desktop and mobile networks.
Adplexity says archived product pages preserve prices, variants and reviews as visitors saw them, while archived ads and pages remain searchable after removal. Ads can be ranked by days running, but that duration does not establish performance.
Ask about search limits and exports
Before choosing a subscription, ask how search queries and results are capped. Check whether export rules differ by report type or saved research.
Ask which file formats are supported and whether exports have row or frequency limits. Clarify how recurring reports are scheduled, delivered and shared.
Ask how many team seats are included and which permissions apply to shared work. Find out whether saved boards remain accessible if a subscription ends.
API requests use credits and account data
Adplexity’s API page says an ad returned in search uses one credit, while a full-detail request uses one additional credit. Every plan includes 5,000 API credits per month, according to that page checked 2026-10-30. Unused credits do not roll over; each billing month starts with 5,000 fresh credits.
The provider says API coverage follows the platforms on the account. Searches can use keyword, advertiser or URL, with filters for platform, country, language and ad type. Landing pages are searchable by on-page copy; details can include redirect chains, outgoing URLs, screenshots, archived pages and detected technology.
The API can export saved Boards and read Boards shared by public link. Dictionary endpoints list filter values, and the provider says an API key is generated automatically on the API & MCP page. API requests use an X-API-Key header. The provider says REST API and MCP use the same data and monthly credits, with MCP connecting data to Claude and ChatGPT. Additional credit packages are described as forthcoming.
Refund and access terms narrow flexibility
Adplexity’s refund policy requires requests within 2 days of the subscription start date for eligibility. The provider says refunds are decided case by case at AdIntelligence Limited’s sole discretion. The policy identifies unresolved technical issues that prevent service use as a possible basis for a request; proof may be required.
The terms say paid fees are non-refundable except where law or the Refund Policy provides otherwise. Approved refunds go to the original payment method, but the policy gives no processing timeframe. The provider may modify the refund policy, with changes effective when posted.
Subscriptions automatically renew under the same conditions unless either party cancels. The terms also allow account suspension or termination without prior notice, including for terms breaches. The provider says spy tools cannot show an advertiser’s ROI. No free trial is offered; demos are available instead. Several details are missing; they are listed under What we could not confirm.
Boards and reports support shared research
- Saved boards keep selected ads, domains, offers or landing pages together, and can be shared with teams or clients.
- Searches can become recurring reports that recipients can share or export as CSV files.
- The vendor says scheduled reports can be delivered to recipients, adding a delivery option beyond manual exports.
- Adplexity says customers can switch billing cycles, add another platform or cancel from account settings.
- The API is included with every plan, so it does not require a separate API subscription.
Compare subscriptions by workload needs
Compare providers by the ad coverage and search controls relevant to your research. Check export formats and limits, API access, billing cycles, and refund conditions. For shared work, ask about seat counts and permissions, and how saved research behaves when access ends.
Choose a platform by research scope
Adplexity identifies ecommerce, lead generation, iGaming, search arbitrage and agencies as use cases. Separate subscriptions let buyers select platforms individually, with one login across them.
That structure may suit a workload focused on a particular platform; ecommerce searches also include filters for Shopify, WooCommerce and BigCommerce. The fit depends on whether the selected platform and its billing terms match the research scope.
What we could not confirm
- Refund requests may be made for technical issues that prevent service use and cannot be resolved by support; proof may be required.
Questions about credits, billing and access
What consumes API credits?
An ad returned in search uses one credit, and requesting its full details uses one additional credit. The API page says every plan includes 5,000 credits per month. The credit allowance applies to API requests; the cited pricing information does not describe a separate API subscription.
Do unused API credits carry forward?
Unused API credits do not carry forward, according to Adplexity’s API page. The same page says each billing month starts with 5,000 fresh credits. Buyers planning repeated API use should account for the monthly reset when considering how they will use the allowance.
How does subscription billing renew?
Subscriptions automatically renew under the same conditions unless the subscriber or AdIntelligence Limited cancels. Adplexity says monthly billing is charged each month and yearly billing is charged once a year. The terms specify advance billing on the plan’s monthly or yearly cycle.
What happens to access after cancellation?
Adplexity says cancellation can be made at any time, with access continuing until the current billing cycle ends. Its terms also say subscriptions automatically renew unless the subscriber or AdIntelligence Limited cancels. The provider lists account settings as a place to cancel recurring subscriptions.
What does the refund policy say?
The refund policy says requests must be submitted within 2 days of the subscription start date to be eligible. AdIntelligence Limited decides refunds case by case at its sole discretion. The terms state that paid fees are non-refundable except where law or the Refund Policy provides otherwise.
Is a trial or ROI figure provided?
Adplexity says it does not offer free trials and offers demos instead. The provider also says spy tools cannot show an advertiser’s ROI. These are separate points: the demo does not change the stated trial policy, and the ROI statement concerns what the tool can show.
Fit rests on platform and billing choice
Fits if… the selected platform and billing cycle match the research workload.
Probably not if… the buyer needs a free trial or different documented billing and refund conditions.
Main risk… choosing a subscription before checking its platform-specific price and the applicable renewal terms.
